Sifnos is an ideal destination for holidays by boat since it’s only 60n.m. from Anavissos and 75n.m. from Faliro till the island's port, i.e. Kamares, and it’s in a central location for excursions to most islands of the Cyclades!

Where to moor (organized)

Kamares port - (west)

Mooring of vessels can be made at the designated mooring sites of the pier or offshore. The pier of Kamares provides electricity and water and the mooring of boats is available at a charge. At the small dock has been added a floating pier. For information please contact the Port Authorities of Sifnos (tel. +302284033617).

In Kamares, there are cafés and restaurants which operate throughout the year, and if you want to stay for days or take a tour on the island, you can rent a car from the nearby rental agencies. Alternatively, you can use a taxi or a bus. The taxi rank and the bus terminal is next to the pier

In Kamares, you will find a supermarket and the ATMS of Piraeus Bank and National Bank. Ice can be purchased from the kiosk and the supermarket.

Platis Gialos - (shouth)

Mooring of vessels can be made offshore or at the designated mooring sites for guests of the marina. You will find appropriate marking with the designated mooring sites where you can anchor. You don’t have to anchor in the marina as there are mooring buoys for guests. The marina of Platis Gialos provides electricity and water and the mooring of vessels is available at a charge. For information please contact the office of the marina (tel. +302284071365).

In Platis Gialos, there are cafés and restaurants that usually operate throughout the year and if you want to stay for days or take a tour on the island, you can rent a car from the nearby rental agencies. Alternatively, you can use a taxi or a bus. The bus stop is at a 350m distance from the marina.

In Platis Gialos you will find a mini market.

Vathi. It has a pier, but is small and the designated mooring sites are limited. From Easter to October you will find cafés, restaurants and mini markets with ice available.

Faros, Glifo. It has a pier, but is small and the designated mooring sites are limited. Here, you will find cafés, snack bars, restaurants and mini markets throughout the year.

Fassolou. There is a small pier but is available only for disembarking and boarding. Here you will find a café - restaurant mainly during the summer months, however, following the trail you reach Faros in 10 minutes
